Artist Biography

Pernilla Manjula Philip is interested in the field of medical history and investigates aspects of sickness and it's multipul ties to the medical industrial-complex. While adressing issues containg mechanisms of control, she uses hacking and tinkering as collaborativ tools of activism to re-imagine alternative collective care systems. Via methods of material research and lived experience her work forms as spatial installations, sculptures and performances.
